Plastisol additives

Achieving the perfect durometer has never been easier!

Available in 1-quart jugs, our additives allow you to fine-tune your plastisol’s durometer to perfectly meet your specific needs

With our Plastisol Hardener, you can increase the stiffness of your plastisol, while our Softener allows you to soften it, all according to your preferences.

The mixing process is a breeze: Simply blend 1 tablespoon of either the Plastisol Hardener or Plastisol Softener with 1 cup of Plastisol to raise or lower the durometer by +/- 1.

For instance, by adding just 1 tablespoon of Plastisol Softener to a cup of our Craw/Tube formula, you’ll decrease its durometer by -1 point, bringing it nearer to the durometer of our Swimbait/Jerkbait plastisol.

Non-phthalate bases should not be mixed with Phthalate bases. Doing so will result in the degradation of the plastic leading to breaking appendages. Always check to make sure your bases are compatible. Most companies make their colorant with a base that is compatible with their plastisol. Please always check to make sure your Plastisols, Colors, and additives are compatible.
